About Me

Born and raised in Mexico City; Melisa has a passion for culture, arts and the heritage of her native country. She has a Master’s Degree in Cultural Anthropology, specializing in the study of urbanization in the Historic Centers of ‘Pueblos Mágicos’. It was this research that brought her to San Miguel de Allende, where she soon fell in love with its community, beauty and culture, and found her passion for Real Estate.

Melisa’s professional experience in San Miguel includes having been the Coordinator of the Ignacio Ramírez Cultural Center ‘El Nigromante’ Bellas Artes. Previously, in Mexico City, she was Deputy Director of Cultural Studies at the Universidad del Claustro de Sor Juana, and worked at the Vasconcelos National Library. She has worked for art- and culture- engaged NGOs in Oaxaca, Veracruz, San Luis Potosí and Zacatecas and holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM); Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM), and Universidad del Claustro de Sor Juana (UCSJ).
